The event ends. The story doesn't.

The room, the energy, the moment it all came together — captured in cinematic photo and film, and delivered fast enough to share while it's still buzzing.

“For nearly 20 years, I've been in the arena — which means a lot of events, a lot of moments, and certainly a lot of photos. But every once in a while, someone captures something that truly reflects the energy, the purpose, and the vibe of the moment. Wellison did exactly that. Thank you, Wellison, for putting your talent and perspective into this moment. This is one I'll truly cherish.”

Two ways to relive it

Photography + Videography
Photography

The images that get published.

Sharp, cinematic, publication-ready stills of the speakers, the room, and the candid moments people actually want to remember — sneak peeks in 48 hours.

Videography

The film that gets felt.

Video is where this is going — a recap that makes your event impossible to scroll past, and a cinematic film for the moments that deserve to be produced, not just recorded.

Made like a production

Cinema camera · lighting · broadcast audio
Flash of Grace video production set — Godox softbox lighting, cinema camera on tripod, and a seated subject in a Connecticut commercial build-out
On set — cinema camera, shaped softbox lighting, and lavalier audio for a Connecticut brand film.

When you hire Flash of Grace, you're not getting a phone on a tripod. You're getting a real set — so the final film looks like it belongs on a screen, not a feed.

Professional cameras

Filmed on professional cinema cameras with external monitoring — the same tools behind commercial work, not a phone on a stick.

Professional lighting

Real lighting — softboxes and modifiers, shaped on purpose — so your people and your space look intentional, never flat or fluorescent.

Professional audio

Lavalier and boom microphones capture clean, broadcast-quality sound. Weak audio is what makes video feel amateur — yours won't.

A step beyond coverage

When it needs to look produced.

Some moments deserve more than coverage — an announcement, a brand message, a milestone. Fully lit, intentional, and directed, a cinematic film makes your message land the way it deserves to.

Questions

Good to know

Will the photographer get in everyone's way?

No. I work quietly on the floor — capturing the room, the speakers, and the candid connection without becoming part of the event. You'll barely notice me; you'll definitely notice the results.

How fast do I get the photos and video?

Sneak peeks within 48 hours so you can post while it's still buzzing, and the full edited gallery (plus your reel or film, per tier) within two weeks. No waiting a month for flat, forgettable shots.

How much does event photo + video cost?

Photo coverage starts at $300/hour (3-hour minimum). Signature Event ($450/hr) adds a 60-second recap reel; Cinematic Event ($650/hr) adds a full highlight film. Standalone films start at $395. Tell me your date, hours, and venue for an exact quote.

What makes your video different from 'event coverage'?

Two levels. A recap/highlight reel captures the energy of the day. A cinematic brand film is fully lit and intentional — for announcements, messages, and moments that need to look produced, not just recorded.

Do you travel for events?

Yes — based in East Haven, CT, I regularly cover events across Connecticut, plus Boston and New York. Travel is included locally and quoted for distance.

Can you handle government or corporate contracts?

Absolutely. Flash of Grace is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), registered on SAM.gov — bookings can count toward supplier-diversity goals. See the capabilities page.
